Eco Tour

Our favorite bird, the Siberian Jay is one of the World’s largest and most remarkable
birds. Few people ever get to see this bird in real life. However, in late spring (April-
June), we are proud to offer big chances to watch Siberian Jay in action, while hunting
voles in the meadows. In addition, late spring offer good chances to spot newborn Moose
calves together with their mothers and also Beavers waking up from their winter
slumber. Join us for this excellent eight day Eco and mammal watching tour.

An experienced bird guide will take you to the Siberian Jay own hunting grounds where these birds often show up in evenings and mornings. Late spring is also the time of year when up to 100,000 Moose calves are born and taking their firsts steps. The calves are reddish in color
and communicate with the cows through nasal sounds. Spring time also means that Beavers are active in the lakes and rivers.
We travel together in small groups accompanied by a skilled guide. During the tour we sleep at two different lodges, both located in beautiful
natural areas. We will make several attempts to spot Great Grey Owl, Moose and Beaver, mainly in the evenings. You will also have the chance to spot Cranes, Black Grouse, Capercaillie, Woodpeckers and Birds of prey like Osprey and White-tailed Eagle.
